From early drawings to a wider practice.
A path that began with newspaper cartoons and kept opening into illustration, animation, publishing, exhibitions, and conversation.

ARiF began publishing cartoons in Bangladesh in 2004. Early editorial and anti-corruption work shaped a practice grounded in observation, humour, and a determination to respond to the world as it is.
Over time, the work expanded. Alongside political cartoons came illustration, comics, animation, exhibitions, and publishing—different forms that share a concern with storytelling and public dialogue.
In 2009, ARiF founded Toons Mag as a platform for cartoonists to publish and connect. The projects that followed continue to place drawings in conversation with communities, readers, and audiences around the world.
