Toons Mag: making room for independent voices.
A publishing platform created so cartoonists can share work, find an audience, and take part in public conversation across borders.

ARiF founded Toons Mag in 2009 while he was unable to continue publishing safely in Bangladesh. The project began with a simple conviction: cartoonists need space to publish, exchange ideas, and be seen.
It has since grown into a multilingual magazine and a platform for artists from around the world. Alongside publishing, Toons Mag develops the International Cartoon Contest and Exhibition programme, bringing drawings into galleries, libraries, schools, and public conversations.
The aim remains clear: make room for independent voices and the images that help people see difficult questions differently.
