Women’s Rights: cartoons for equality and dignity.
An international exhibition using cartoons to approach gender equality, education, discrimination, forced marriage, and unequal work.
Launched on International Women’s Day, the Women’s Rights International Cartoon Exhibition brought together artists whose work made room for difficult and necessary conversations.
The project received 1,625 submitted drawings from 567 cartoonists across 79 countries. Exhibitions opened in Drøbak, Bangalore, and Uttar Pradesh, followed by a presentation in Prešov, Slovakia.
The work shows how visual storytelling can make big social questions immediate, accessible, and impossible to ignore.
